A Few Things You Should Know
It is critically important in both workers compensation and tort cases to make all your doctors appointments. Of course, sometimes this is impossible as conflicts do arise, but the less information your doctors can verify about your condition and corresponding treatment, the more difficult will be for me to prove your case.
More importantly, missing doctors appointments hampers your ability to reach maximum medical improvement, and gives the impression that you are not serious about your case. We cannot actually bring a lawsuit until you have completed your treatment.
I review this in my frequently asked questions. In general, clients are very good about keeping appointments, but it still happens occasionally that clients will miss appointment.
